Theatre Arts - Joshua Boothe

Welcome to Mountain Valley Theatre Arts! I'm Joshua Boothe, the Theatre Arts Director at MVMS, and we are excited for another year of fantastic performances! I am a current actor and teacher with 17 years of experience in educational theatre. I'm a father of two boys, Maximus and Ryker, and husband to my beautiful wife, Valyn. I'm a University of Texas alumni, hook 'em horns, and a scholarship winner from S.F.A. University. During my teaching years, my program has received "Teacher of the Year",  "Red Carpet Scholarship Fund" from the Long Center, and won several "UIL OAP" competitions. During my years of teaching, I have started and expanded 5 different theatre programs from inner city schools to small rural districts. My family and I run a boat and RV storage business out here in Canyon Lake and love being a part of the MVMS hawk community!
