Mr. Fey - Science 23 - 24

START HERE!
Super excited to start this year!  Thanks to two separate grants, we have the highest-tech HIGH TECH classroom in the state!  We got tech so big you can't see stuff like this outside of college, the military, or a museum!!!  Our Science "Top Guns" will get hands-on instruction... second to none!

Along with that... THIS IS THE YEAR OF TWO ECLIPSES !!!!!!!   Two Eclipses in one school year... HERE... MVMS... by Divine providence, we are right in the path of TWO Total Solar Eclipses!
Our kids will be ready!  We already won a grant to equip each student with their own Eclipse-Watching Glasses!  Plus we got 3 Solar Telescopes on Campus AND Mr. Gould has the most sophisticated telescope you're likely to see outside of an Observatory!  We Hawks are READY for this celestial super-show!

On DAY ONE, I will give your student a Welcome Letter and a Science Lab Safety Contract.  I'll need those signed by a parent or guardian before we can work our labs.
Just like the real world, we will be using 3-ring binders and the new Google Chromebooks for our notes and activities.  See below.
