In our classroom, we believe that growth happens when we push ourselves beyond our comfort zone. This year, we will focus on nurturing perseverance through the struggle, not as something to avoid, but as an essential part of learning. Students will be encouraged to tackle challenges head-on, persevere through mistakes, and discover strategies that work for them.
Through problem solving, critical thinking, and hands-on activities, we will nurture the skills and stamina students need; not just for academics, but for life. Our goal is for every student to leave the year knowing that even when the work feels hard, they have the resilience, creativity, and determination to succeed.
After all...it's when we stretch, struggle, and are nurtured along the way, that we truly learn to soar.

We teach and model what it means to be safe (making choices that protect ourselves and others), respectful (treating everyone with kindness and consideration), and responsible (taking ownership of our actions, our learning, and our school environment. By practicing these values every day, students build the character and skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
