I am very happy to start this 2025-2026 school year. I have been teaching 18 years. I started as a bilingual elementary teacher, then I moved to high school to teach Spanish 1, 2 and 3, and finally I found my perfect place at MVMS. I have been married 26 years to a wonderful man who is also a Navy veteran, and I have 3 grown children. My oldest is a science teacher in Laredo, Texas. My middle child is a safety inspector, and my only daughter is about to start her university career to pursue a medical degree. I love to inspire children to learn, and I love to teach Spanish, especially when it comes to teaching culture because it broadens everyone's knowledge of people and customs. You'll be surprised how many things in common you have with other cultures. I always hope for the best school year, and I can't wait to meet all of you.
